Welcome
Hey guys! Welcome to Plurabella Pro Photography's new website. Most of you know - Plurabella is a name I put on all the ways I do my "thang." This site is mostly devoted to my photography, but I'm also the president of a production company with clients like WalMart, WGN, Word, Sam's Club, Random House, ZOMM, Quest (Is that bragging? Yeah...I guess it is!) I'm setting up a separate page for all those "serious clients." But this site? This is for all of us normal people. (okay, so maybe i'm not that normal sometimes, so webmaster, please insert smiley face here.) Also note - the royal "we" shall be used from time to time - because I didn't do all this stuff on my own. I'm fortunate to work with some very talented people.
I have a photography company because I adore photography. My business partner yells at me all the time because we don't charge more for taking your photographs. But that's just it - I don't care. I love it and I want it to be affordable for you. And that includes the prints, too. I started this blog so those of you who've been on shoots with us can tell others...we do this for fun. We are constantly trying to find ways to make your shoot different; unique. Something that's yours alone.
We will photograph anything. We will take your living room furniture out to the lake. Hang a baby from a tree (don't worry, it was safe. See photo below) Photoshop out your stretch marks, your wrinkles, the snot out of your kid's nose. And we will enjoy it, because we don't just create pretty pictures, we are preserving your memories.
What makes this all even better is that during all of this, I'm trying to get my two children to golf tournaments (they both are competing for state awards,) and my crew has to shoot a national tv spot without me while I try
to catch up on my sleep from following my tiny golf-phenoms around the course, while I get emails from people who are still trying to get prints settled from shoots I did months ago.
So - this is my life. This is my blog. Don't hate me because I whine. I'm working on that.
I take pictures. I make movies. I have a business. It's called Plurabella.
