Callie
I woke up Saturday morning to beautiful blue skies full of fluffy white clouds and immediately asked the cloud gods to keep them there through Sunday. Thankfully, they listened and answered. On Sunday, the Plurabella team knew exactly what we wanted to capture with our lovely bride, Callie. She has that fresh, clean, girl next door look with the kind of personality you immediately fall in love with. So with the perfect bride and a sky full of deliciousness, we set off to find locations that would give us pictures you could put on the front of any bridal magazine. Having photographed Callie (and Tim's) engagement pictures (check them out on Facebook,) we needed to match that Urban shoot with a little Country. Callie is earthy and a natural beauty, but she also has a very glamorous side. To pull off such a shoot with this diverse tone, I asked a lot from myself and from my crew. We battled peak-a-boo sunshine during the day and a freezing night wind that was roaring down Boston Avenue, attempting to blow poor Callie off her shoes! But I think you will agree the results are stunning. While in fact some are not traditional "bridal" shots (in fact they veer into high fashion,) this is my favorite type of photography. Probably because it's much like being on a film set, which is what I do in my spare time
I get bored easily. I can't imagine running a company that worked on templates and churned out the same thing every photo session. Where is the fun in that? I want my company to be for people looking to express themselves, to visually represent who they really are. To put it bluntly, I had a blast! And Callie will have gorgeous images that will remind her of this very special time in her life.
